Overview
The Wahoo & Tuna Shoot Out is a combined one-day tournament hosted by Van Wormer Resorts at Playa del Sol in the East Cape. In its second year, this event brings together two of the most exciting species in Baja: the blistering speed of wahoo and the powerful endurance of yellowfin tuna.
September is prime time for both wahoo and tuna in the East Cape. Wahoo are moving through the area on their seasonal migration, and tuna are feeding heavily on the abundant baitfish. This tournament offers anglers the chance to target both species in a single day of competition.

Why September?
