What should my team confirm before paying?
Ask what the base entry includes, which jackpots are optional, how many anglers may compete, and what paperwork the boat needs. Confirm minimum fish weights, release-video evidence, the fishing boundary and the last check-in time in the current rulebook. Arrange the boat separately unless the organizer explicitly includes it.

Weigh-ins and spectator access
Daily weigh-ins and release-video check-in run at the IGY Marina weigh station during the three fishing days.
Scale hours are a viewing window, not a guarantee of fish arriving at a particular time. Keep boat access clear and ask the organizer whether ceremonies or dinner need a separate ticket.

Where to stay
Playa Grande is the official host resort and hosts the opening event and awards gala. Confirm room availability and event access directly; a tournament entry is not a room booking.
