What should my team confirm before paying?
Ask what the base entry includes, which jackpots are optional, how many anglers may compete, and what paperwork the boat needs. Confirm minimum fish weights, release-video evidence, the fishing boundary and the last check-in time in the current rulebook. Arrange the boat separately unless the organizer explicitly includes it.

Magic Touch won with a 675-pound blue marlin. The 82-team field competed for $1.6 million; Estrella Kahe led the release division with nine blue-marlin releases.
Weigh-ins and spectator access
The beach weigh station at Buena Vista Beach Resort is open from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. after each fishing day.
Scale hours are a viewing window, not a guarantee of fish arriving at a particular time. Keep boat access clear and ask the organizer whether ceremonies or dinner need a separate ticket.
