Gray Whale
Longest migration of any mammal; 12,000 mi round trip. Famous for 'friendly' behavior approaching boats. Peak: Jan-Feb.
Blue Whale
Largest animal ever to live (100 ft, 200 tons). Rare but sighted in deep waters off Cabo. Winter and spring.
Orca (Killer Whale)
Present year-round, more common winter-spring. Travel in pods. Thrilling bonus sighting.
